Our main hunting location will revolve around English Lake in Jefferson County. It is located off of Hwy 88 just north of the Arkansas River and south of Bayou Meto. This lake is nearly 3 miles long and lies just inside the flood levee, providing expansive hunting opportunities. Flooded rice and bean fields sprinkle the surrounding area giving our wintering waterfowl plenty of food sources.
Speckle Belly and Conservation Snow goose hunts will take place on dry corn and bean fields across Jefferson County. Spreading from Reydel to Wabbaseka and farther north will allow for us to follow the birds during and after duck season!!
Hunting hours vary based off of sunrise and sunset. Morning hunts begin 30 minutes before sunrise and afternoon hunts end at sunset. Morning hunts will end before 10:00 and afternoon hunts will not start until 2:00
unless circumstances require otherwise.
